Today i made a set of panzer Headphones and push-to-talk throat mic to fit one of the PMR's. This way i can hide the nasty modern radio out of the way at St. Lo.

i like that, nice.
That's brilliant, Evo!

Very clever evo

sehr gut Herr DM
Doused my US webbing in water burried it in the garden dug it up again thrashed it around rubbed in the mud and hung out to dry, rubbed mud into my M41 jacket, hopefully it will aid in my war torn look for St lo stubble and all ![]()
put another 500 rounds through my tanaka today and I think the BGS hop is finally bedded, just ready for St Lo. I'm going to take it out to test tomorrow at my local site, along with my DAK gear if its still nice. ![]()

Recovering from a cross country run/hike, took a 5ft fall down a culvert through some nettles and onto a barbed wire fence.
Luckily I was wearing enough to stop most of the nettles and my boots took the fence well.
Went to a party with a fancy dress theme and spilt a little wine and marshmellow down the old US gear. Hope fully will aid in the war torn impression for St Lo (insert B&H propper Lo arrow, but I'm too drunk to find it)

Oh crap, mine is no where near s good
Well, last night I....
Camped out in the garden in the zelt tent. Woke up at ten to six absolutely shattered - the cat was sneaking in and out until 3am making a terrible noise padding across the plastic groundsheet, as well as hurling herself against the outside of the tent catching moths or making stabbing probes under the edges of the tent on the off-chance she might claw herself a mouse. Still, as I lay there I pondered on how much more practical a zelt tent would be if it didn't have a central pole and thus came up with a cunning plan....

which will be revealed after the bloody long dramatic pause?

Hehe, sorry, had to get three hours sleep on a proper bed! One idea was to use a pump off a bouncy castle and by using a greater air pressure inside the tent that the outside the tent will keep its shape and stay upright. ![]()
The more practical idea was simple - use four long rigid poles running from the four corners, along the angle, to meet at the apex. I think it will work!

Someone at NYMR had a metal pyramid framework built for their Zelt tent - once frame was put together the zelt was thrown over and secured into place. From memory the frame work pole connectors were similar to that of a 9x9 Tent
have been continuing to TWS zelt's - 4 down a few to go.
Tidied up the mess made whilst working on my SMLE. The house looks a lot less like a tip now! ![]()

I played nice, I only used 134a.
Got a few decent kills with it although my best was 4 guys with one grenade- the only one I used all day as well.
Might have got a few more if it wasn't for a little detour into the wilderness thanks to Craig/System M.
I picked up some madbull .40s as well- a noticable improvement over the straights I was using. ![]()

Today, I learned that having a car packed with too much modern technology is not a good thing sometimes! My "smart" entry system proved that it isn't so fecking smart!
I also learned that I'm still not fully fit after going to a bbq at my Moms'. 20 minutes in the sun and that was me knackered. Now sitting in a darkened room, reading Toyota handbooks in the hope I can find out how to a) Open the doors! b) Start the bloody thing!
